I am one of those readers that if a book can make me laugh, cry, or feel any sort of emotion, it’s automatically a fantastic book. And Sleet Princess by SJ Tilly sure as hell did that for me.

My Thoughts
We met Luke in the Sleet Kitten, and I personally saw him with Jackson’s sister Stephanie. So when I read the blurb of Sleet Princess I was curious to see who he’d end up with.
You know how sometimes you imagine a character one way and then the author goes and does a switch on you? I might be a bit biased here, being an author myself, but the author is correct.
“Means that after my mom caught me, uh, expressing myself, she left a pile of her romance books on my bed and told me to read them. Said if I was old enough to buy porno magazines off the neighbor kid, who stole them from his dad, then I was old enough to read from the other perspective.” – Sleet Princess by SJ Tilly
Natalie was the exact right fight for our man Luke. She’s not exactly black cat but she’s close and as we all know black cats and golden retrievers are perfect for each other. This book felt similar to that.
Twenty minutes in this woman’s presence, and she has me questioning if maybe I do want to get my dick pierced. – Sleet Princess by SJ Tilly
Natalie is a trust fund adult, who works her ass off for everything she has, but it’s left her kind of lonely in the relationship and friendship department. She struggles with finding real friends who don’t see the wealth she has but see her for who she is.
In some ways Luke has suffered the same. While extremely close to his teammates, he still hasn’t found a partner in life.
So when these two accidentally, drunkenly, end up married in Vegas. And when a heat filled moment in an elevator makes the news, the two need to either deal with the fall out or pretend their marriage is real.
The spice is spicing in this book, we get it early and often and it’s so very good. And while typically you wouldn’t expect to start busting out in laughter while reading a spicy scene, SJ Tilly has a few that will leave you giggling. In a great way.
“Tell me I can touch you.” His demand spears through me. “If you don’t touch me”—I arch into his hand—“I’ll drown you in the ocean.” – Sleet Princess by SJ Tilly
Both of the characters have brick walls surrounding their hearts. They are trying desperately to protect themselves from being hurt. We get to see them learn to be a bit vulnerable.
As I’ve mentioned in the previous recommendation posts for this series, SJ Tilly does side characters and found family tropes really freaking well. All the previous characters show up, and all the found family vibes we got in the first books come through in this one too.
Overall this book was hilarious, perfect, and the perfect way to end this series.

Hello
Thanks for the review. I have started the sleet series and enjoy it greatly. 2 books read and 2 to go. Staring Meghan’s story this week end.
I was wondering if we know if there will be a book for Stephanie. I have not been able to find any information and it’s sad if the 4th girl of the group is left out of a story. I also thought that she was going to be paired with Luke as he is her brother best friend.
I don’t want to spoil anything and the entire series is worth the read. However, I don’t believe Stephanie has her own book, at least not yet. I know i was feeling much the same way, but in the end I felt the stories we got were fitting for each of the Sleet men.
